K, a graduate Faculty of Business Management Kansai Electric Power Community Co., Ltd., graduating in March 2026.
It was only because I visited Career Center that I was able to find a company where I could make the most of my skills.
In my seminar, I gained valuable work experience by collaborating with local companies to develop original leather products and helping out at festivals in Daito City. Because I enjoy talking to people, I vaguely wanted to work in sales... But I didn't know where to start, so I went to Career Center. I remember feeling truly relieved when Ms. Yamazaki listened to me attentively. I am truly grateful for all her help, from proofreading my application form to giving me interview advice. Later, when I was struggling with the direction of my job search, Ms. Yamazaki suggested that Kansai Electric Power Community Co., Ltd., which manages and operates apartments and other properties, might be a good fit for me. When I learned that the work involves building trusting relationships with residents, landlords, and contractors and supporting people's lives, I became convinced that I could utilize my skills. I will support people's daily lives based on the communication skills and sense of responsibility I cultivated at university.

Canadian Engineering Co., Ltd., Ms. S, Faculty of Design Technology graduating in March 2026
I built a foundation through career design courses, completed an internship, and then landed a job at my top-choice company.
In my department's career design course, I conducted self-analysis, company analysis, and vocal exercises, and then, accompanied by my professor, I attended a joint company information session. There, I learned about Canadian Devia Co., Ltd., and in November of my third year, I participated in their internship. I was attracted to their business of protecting people from disasters such as tsunamis with their high level of technical expertise as a machinery and plant manufacturer, as well as their warm corporate culture, and I wanted to work there. Ms. Kitaguchi at Career Center helped me with proofreading my application forms and practicing interviews many times. When I was worried about whether focusing my job search on the construction industry was the right thing to do, she kindly advised me, "Why don't you attend information sessions for other science and engineering companies?" Thanks to her, I was able to broaden my horizons to other industries and make a career decision that I was happy with, and I am grateful for that. Because I studied a wide range of subjects from drafting to architecture at university, my strength is that I can work in any department without anxiety. I will not forget my desire for improvement and will continue to work hard.

Don't worry alone, make use of Career Center!
Since I was in junior high school, I wanted to get a job where I could interact with people from all over the world. After graduating from Japanese language school, I chose to study logistics at Osaka Sangyo University Faculty of Business Management Department of Commercial Sciences where I could learn about trade, in order to get the job I wanted in the future. Academically, it was a perfect fit for the job I wanted, so all I had to do was find a company that suited me. Since I am an international student, I thought it would be a good idea to properly understand and prepare for job hunting in Japan early on. So, during the summer vacation of my second year, I participated in a job hunting event hosted by my university, where I met the people from Career Center for the first time and learned about the process of job hunting. I also heard about various companies. I was interested in the logistics industry, but the more I attended information sessions and internships, the more interested I became in manufacturers. Career Center told me, "Since you are studying logistics at university, it is easy to appeal to the logistics industry, but if you want to work for a manufacturer, we will support you until the end," and introduced me to some reliable manufacturers, which I was very impressed with. MST Corporation, where I received a job offer, was one of them. By utilizing Career Center, I can ask anything I have a problem with and get various professional advice, which is very helpful. Please make use of this service, not only for Japanese students but also for international students!
